Tim Norris is a long-time wine aficionado. As he fell in love with cheeses during summers in France as a kid, it was natural for wine to follow. More formally he is a Veritas veteran and was a Zraly wine class assistant at Windows on the World, at the top of the World Trade Center north tower, right before 9/11. It was 9/11 that prompted his move to Naples with his family in October of '01.
Feeling the urge to be of service after 9/11, Tim first volunteered as a server for the Naples Winter Wine Festival in '02, with Thomas Keller. He's volunteered most years for the Festival since, and in the last few years has managed and been acting Sommelier at the events. He feels privileged to be involved with the Naples Winter Wine Festival community, and to do meaningful work benefiting the children of Collier County. While in Naples Tim was also a North Naples Rotary Club member and supporter of the Rotary Foundation. He co-owned Gordon River Decor, a family decorative arts business and managed family investments. Tim is a Columbia grad with a background in real estate.
Originally from England, he now lives in Brooklyn, NY, with his wife and three children. Tim is a Board Certified Health Coach, building his practice in New York, Naples and England, with Miranda, his wife. He has a view of the new World Trade Center tower from his roof.
