Each year, Robb Report’s editors and senior executives invite a select group of VIPs to a luxurious destination where they spend two days evaluating and sharing their driving impressions of the best new luxury and sports car offerings of the year. As the winner, you will join the editors in November 2008 at Meadowood and be wined and dined by some of Napa Valley’s most respected vintners. Robb Report will have on hand the world’s finest sport convertibles, GTs, luxury sedans and sport-utility/crossover vehicles for you to drive and evaluate.

After your Car of the Year experience – or separately if you wish – you will be hosted at one of the world’s most exceptional country properties, Cardinale Estate Winery. You and a guest will enjoy a private dinner with acclaimed vintner, Chris Carpenter, and a rarified helicopter tour of the vineyards. If seeing all those grapes sweetening in the California sun reminds you of Burgundy or the Loire, so will the menu and wine list at La Toque. On your second evening at Cardinale, you will be hosted for an exclusive dinner at Ken Frank’s French-inspired Napa restaurant.

Additionally, you will have incredible souvenirs to remind you of your experience. One is a special, custom-crafted six-liter bottle of Cardinale bearing your name as a “Car of the Year” judge with the event logo and date on it. The second is a timepiece de résistance, the Cartier Roadster Watch, which will be presented to you at the Auction. This 2007 special limited edition large-model watch, with a blue dial and stainless steel casing, takes its inspiration from the curvy sports cars of the 1950s and 60s.
