This monumental lot whisks two couples to Washington, D.C. for a fascinating experience in the rarefied world of the nation’s center of power. The winning couples fly from Naples to Washington in style aboard a Learjet 70 courtesy of Northern Jet Management and receive three nights’ accommodations at the Four Seasons Hotel, an icon at the entrance of Georgetown.

The couples take a private tour of the FOX News DC operations, spending quality time with Bret Baier, chief political anchor for FOX and best-selling author. Guests visit the control room and studio of “Special Report with Bret Baier” with the opportunity to sit in on a live broadcast of the top-rated cable news program in its timeslot. Guests will go on the set for photo ops with Bret and his fellow panelists, who will then join the couples for dinner at Charlie Palmer Steak.

A graduate of DePauw University, Bret joined FOX in 1998 as the first reporter in the Atlanta bureau and was named chief White House correspondent in 2006. Bret is also the author of Special Heart: A Journey of Faith, Hope, Courage and Love (a The New York Times bestseller), Three Days in January: Dwight Eisenhower’s Final Mission, Three Days in Moscow: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of the Soviet Empire and the just-out Three Days at the Brink: FDR’s Daring Gamble to Win WWII.

The couples deepen their DC experience with a behind-the-scenes tour of Capitol Hill with a staff member from the office of a U.S. Senator, followed by a true power lunch in a unique setting with a VIP. (You’ll surely recognize your host, but we are not authorized to disclose his/her identity prior.)

There are more headliners on the couples’ itinerary with a private tour of the “PBS NewsHour” studio. The guests watch a live broadcast from the control room and are treated to a meet and greet with anchor Judy Woodruff, who has covered politics and other news for more than four decades at NBC, CNN and PBS.

It doesn’t take an act of Congress to get the red-carpet treatment in Washington, but you will need a veto-proof bid. So vote with your paddle, early and often, to make this monumental trip yours!
