Dreaming about a steel guitar engagement? Raise your paddle and bid high for a front-row seat to Napa Valley’s premier music event. Held every year over Memorial Day weekend in the city of Napa, this extravaganza offers the very best in tunes, food and wine.

After relaxing in Business Class on a cross-country flight, you’ll be whisked away to the Knoll, the private guest house at Gargiulo Vineyards. Throughout your week-long stay, your group will enjoy privacy and solitude accompanied by magnificent views of the Gargiulo estate vineyards.

The husband-and-wife team of Valerie Boyd and Jeff Gargiulo dreamed of owning their own winery from the early 1980s, when the couple first traveled to Napa to visit Valerie’s cousins, iconic vintners Belle and Barney Rhodes. They realized that dream in 1992 when they purchased their first Oakville vineyard, Money Road Ranch, followed by 575 OVX seven years later. The Gargiulo portfolio consists of vineyard-designated Cabernet Sauvignon and blends from the two estate vineyards, as well as a Sangiovese-dominated “Super Oakville” blend called Aprile.

To warm up for the festival, you’ll be treated to an exclusive dinner party and concert with a festival performer at Gargiulo Vineyards. Don’t be surprised if Jeff Gargiulo, a devoted guitarist and member of a local band, joins in the jam session.

Once the music starts, you’ll have all the privileges of Platinum passholders at BottleRock: You’ll enter the festival through an exclusive Platinum entrance and have on-stage and front-row viewing areas where you can get up close and personal with some of the world’s top musicians. Your pass will grant access to the exclusive Platinum lounge, where you’ll find daily signature dishes and gourmet bites from local restaurants such as Mustards, La Toque, Oenotri and Morimoto; these will be accompanied by wines from luxury Napa producers such as Caymus, Schramsberg, Duckhorn and Stags’ Leap, as well as creative cocktails and craft beer. You’ll have a private viewing area with the best sound in the festival, complete with cocktail service, as well as meet and greet opportunities with the artists.

Metallica, Kygo, Twenty One Pilots, The Black Crowes, Pink, Luke Combs, Pitbull and Greta Van Fleet: These were just some of the headliners at BottleRock 2022. Every year, the festival attracts an impressive array of artists from across the musical spectrum, with nearly 100 bands in attendance.

The culinary high point of your week in Napa will be dinner at the legendary The French Laundry, one of America’s finest tables and also one of the hardest reservations to book. Owned and operated by Chef Thomas Keller, the restaurant holds the ultimate accolade of Three Michelin Stars. Keller is known for blending the best of French and California cuisine into a distinctive style that is light, graceful, flavorful and refreshing. The seemingly endless wine list combines Bordeaux’s great châteaux and Burgundy’s distinctive small domains with the gems and cult wines of California. Over the years, Keller has mentored some of the world’s best-known chefs including René Redzepi of Noma, Grant Achatz of Alinea and Corey Lee of Benu.

To round out your week, you’ll experience a round of golf, brunch at Gargiulo Vineyards and a day of specially arranged visits and tastings at some of Napa’s top estate wineries. In addition, each couple will receive Magnums of the 2019 single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons from Gargiulo Vineyards: 575 OVX, G Major 7 Study and Money Road Ranch. Produced in limited quantities of 400, 900 and 1,200 cases respectively, these wines are difficult to acquire and rarely found in Magnum format.

Due to the nature of the events in this trip, it is date specific and will take place Monday, May 22-Monday, May 29, 2023 and cannot be redeemed at any other time. Roundtrip, Business Class Airfare from any major city in the contiguous United States to San Francisco, California; roundtrip, ground transportation from San Francisco to Napa; and ground transportation to stated events will be provided. Tickets to BottleRock Napa Valley are three (3) day Platinum passes, which includes exclusive front-row and on-stage viewing opportunities. The prize is non-transferrable and may not be given, assigned or sold to another person/entity. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. Gratuities are included for the listed activities during the trip. Any additional gratuities are at the discretion of the winning bidders. The location of the round of golf will be chosen by the Gargiulo team closer to the date of the event. There will be five (5) days with planned activities and two (2) days at the guests’ leisure.
