If you believe it’s impossible to have too much of a good thing, this lot is for you. With one generous bid, you’ll have a collection of Large Format bottles from every vintner participating in this year’s Festival. On top of that, you’ll be one of the fortunate few to snag the comeback edition of one of the highway’s legends.
One of the challenges of assembling a wine collection is having access to older vintages: current releases dominate the retail market, and it’s often difficult to locate mature wines in good condition. More than half of the Magnum bottles in this collection are ready to drink, while the rest will age gracefully for at least another decade all of them have come directly from the wineries’ cellars. Where else can you find a curated selection of gems from some of the world’s greatest wine estates, assembled for your enjoyment?
2013 Harlan Estate Cabernet Sauvignon received a perfect 100-point score from Robert Parker, who called it “full-bodied, opulent, but also structured, pure and incredibly long.” The 2012 version of Peter Michael’s flagship red wine blend, Les Pavots, is drinkable now and displays glorious notes of black fruits, vanilla and truffle. Cos d’Estournel’s 2010 grand vin is solidly within its window of drinkability, displaying considerable power combined with grace and smoothness. From the same vintage, Knights Bridge Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is now at its peak with deep, plush flavors of cassis and earthy chocolate. For many of the wines in your new collection, more pleasure awaits you in the years to come.
When you feel the open road calling, it’s time to climb into your 2021 Bronco First Edition, the newest reincarnation of one of the most popular SUVs ever made. The Ford Bronco was first produced in 1966 and went through five versions before being discontinued 30 years later. When Ford announced the sixth generation planned for 2021, purists were skeptical that the vehicle could measure up to its predecessors. All the fears turned out to be unfounded.
Critics are raving about the 2021 Bronco First Edition. Road and Track said it “nails an almost impossible comeback,” and “hits the perfect mix of modern capability and vintage-inspired style.” Road/Show by CNET called it “a legit Jeep slayer,” and MotorBiscuit observed that “it has huge shoes to fill, and fills them well… The Ford Bronco delivers all the thrills that the nameplate is known for and then some.”
There’s only one problem: The vehicle is almost impossible to find. By outbidding everyone else for this lot, you can cut through the glitches in the supply chain and drive one home tonight!
This next-generation Bronco comes with all the essentials that make it perfect for both city driving and off-road exploring. It has a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 engine that generates 310 horsepower. The independent suspension and rack-and-pinion steering allow for precision and control. Despite the vehicle’s off-road cred, it has modern tech touches such as a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone charging pad, front parking sensors and a surround-view camera system. Safety features include emergency braking with pedestrian detection and blind-spot monitoring.
Your 2021 Bronco First Edition comes equipped with the Sasquatch Package, capable of turning it into an off-road T-Rex. It has 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels with 35-inch mud tires, locking front and rear axles, additional suspension clearance and heavy-duty Bilstein shocks. Even the Sasquatch itself will give you the right of way.
You won’t find this vehicle at a dealership: only 7,000 were made, and they are already sold out. There are reports of nearly 100% price increases on the resale market.
Bid high, and you’ll leave the tent with the keys in your hand and your fully stocked wine cellar on its way!
