This Napa and Sonoma getaway will transport you to a state of grace in more ways than one. From the beauty and tranquility of your hilltop bungalow amid 100 acres of natural Sonoma beauty—to the heavenly cuisine of Richard Reddington and Nancy Oakes in Napa Valley—to the divine wines of Grace Family Vineyards in glorious California—up to six people are invited to discover their own private paradise.

Ann & Dick Grace did not set out to create a world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, one that would become one of the first “cult” wines in America. Yet that’s precisely what happened, and in the years that followed, the couple have steered Napa Valley toward charity and compassion – both of which also define their leadership at Grace Family Vineyards.

Now shepherding the winery through the next chapter, Kathryn Green and Family are continuing the winery’s focus on quality and philanthropy. To celebrate Naples Winter Wine Festival’s 20th Anniversary, Grace Family Vineyards has etched and hand painted two Imperials—a 2015 Grace Family Vineyards Blank Vineyard Cabernet and a 2015 Grace Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon—with the names of 2019 NCEF Beneficiaries.

As you escape to your Sonoma hilltop retreat, stress dissipates, sanity returns, serenity fills you. The picturesque getaway at Adruni Vineyard’s villa, surrounded by 100 acres of Dry Creek Valley California beauty, offers unparalleled views and fresh air nourished by herb gardens. Winding paths lead you to three intimate single-bedroom bungalows, accommodating six guests for your five-night stay—two Kings and one Queen.

You’ll gather at the main pavilion to cook and sip wine in a lovely indoor/outdoor area with an infinity pool, hot tub, outdoor wood-fire pizza oven, grill and furnished poolside lounge just steps away. You’ll love the understated modern design of this private retreat with a ten-acre vineyard of Cabernet grapes.

Seek solitude hiking the vineyard, the mountain trail on the property or in Armstrong Redwood Forest only 40 minutes away. There’s a great space to arrange your yoga mat, along with a set of free weights. You’re also invited to pick fresh herbs from the garden for cooking! When you’re in the mood for fun and fine cuisine, you’ll find dozens of wineries, restaurants, shopping and more, just a short drive away. An off-site property manager will meet you at check-in for a tour through the property and to help with any questions.

Your Sonoma stay will be all-relaxation, all the time, but there is one important decision to make: Will you enjoy a private dinner prepared for you at home in your Geyserville retreat—or will you enjoy a private dinner at chef Richard Reddington’s Redd Wood, a superbly stylish Italian-inspired eatery in Yountville’s North Block Hotel? Polished, chic and laid-back, Redd Wood is celebrated for its voguish vibe, Napa/Sonoma wine list and osteria-styled menu. including perfectly blistered wood-fired pizzas, house-made pastas with locally sourced ingredients, in-house charcuterie and outstanding mains. The choice is yours!

You’ll also spend one perfect afternoon enjoying lunch al fresco at the home of Nancy Oakes and her husband chef Bruce Aidells, whose artisan chicken sausage forever changed how we think of the sausage. Surrounded by stunning views, you will enjoy a delicious luncheon prepared in their outdoor kitchen and wood-burning oven, while you sip some of your hosts’ favorite local wines with their winemaker neighbors.

Chef Nancy Oakes is a pioneer of haute American cuisine. Since the opening of Boulevard Restaurant in 1993, which earned numerous local, national and international accolades, her unparalleled standard of excellence and groundbreaking dishes have kept diners returning for decades.

Six people are in for a real California wine country treat! This auction lot could be Paradise Found or Paradise Lost depending on your bid…
