Volunteers

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jay Robison has been a dedicated volunteer with the Naples Children Foundation (NCF) for the past five years. His journey with NCF began when he was first hired at Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA), an NCF beneficiary, to manage grant writing. The NCF grant was the largest the organization received, and that connection inspired him to get involved as a volunteer.

Jay shares that volunteering with NCF has been “fun, rewarding and a wonderful way to meet great people.” He credits the NCF community for inspiring him through their professionalism, teamwork and deep commitment to helping children.

Among his many memories, Jay says the Festival stands out—especially the excitement of the Live Auction. He is amazed by the generosity of the patrons and everyone’s friendliness.

When asked about superpowers, Jay jokingly replied, “I’m already Superman!”—a statement that perfectly captures his enthusiasm and dedication. His reliability and positive spirit make him an invaluable member of NCF’s volunteer team, especially during large-scale projects.

Looking ahead, Jay still has a few items left on his bucket list:

1. Buying a bigger boat
2. Building his wife a pool
3. Attending the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles

Jay lives by his favorite quote: “Be a helper.” It’s a simple phrase that reflects both his character and the lasting impact he continues to make in our community.
