With roots dating back to 1700 and vineyards first planted in 1745, Château Troplong Mondot is known for its unparalleled hilltop views over the village of Saint-Émilion and its elegant, aromatic wines crafted from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

During your stay at Troplong Mondot, your group will enjoy five beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms, elegant living spaces, a sun-drenched terrace and a private swimming pool. You’ll experience a private, in-depth tour of the estate, followed by a tasting of some of their best vintages. One evening your party will dine at Les Belles Perdrix, the onsite Michelin-starred restaurant, and another evening the restaurant team will curate an alfresco champêtre-style dinner, hosted by one of the estate directors in the château’s orchard overlooking the village of Saint-Émilion, and accompanied by a Five Liter bottle of the legendary 2005 vintage.

With years of experience and deep relationships with winemakers and estate owners, Martin Hurst and Timothy Olson specialize in crafting tailor-made wine experiences that go far beyond standard tours. After a personal consultation to understand your preferences, they will design a three-day bespoke itinerary featuring private visits to six classified estates, including intimate lunches at three estates hosted by a senior member of the estate team. Their insider access ensures that you’ll experience Bordeaux in a way few ever do—immersed in its culture, history and hospitality.

This trip is for up to five (5) couples. Visit to be scheduled in 2027 for mutually agreeable dates and based on availability. Blackout dates include April 1-May 4, 2027, August 1-31, 2027 and December 20-31, 2027. The swimming pool is open from May through October. Airfare is not included. One (1) roundtrip group airport or train transfer from Bordeaux is included. Guests arriving or departing separately will be responsible for the costs of any additional transfers. Select wine and non-alcoholic beverages are included during the stated meals. Additional alcoholic beverages and all gratuities are not included.
