The dream starts in San Francisco, with an up-close and personal view of a Golden State Warriors home game at Chase Center, joined by Isiah Thomas and Chris Mullin plus Cardinale Winemaker Chris Carpenter. You’ll have pre-game access and a VIP locker-room meet-and-greet, followed by an on-court photo op with the three legends. Your party will enjoy the action in the best possible seats, and you’ll receive a signed jersey from Chris Mullin. After the game, you’ll dine at Miller & Lux, described as “The best steakhouse in the Bay” by San Francisco magazine. After a restful night at the Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco, you’ll be escorted to Napa Valley, where you’ll spend three nights at Manzanita Guest House in the heart of the vineyards. Known for its welcoming ambiance, it emphasizes relaxation and a home-like feel. The comfortable and charming rooms are augmented by amenities such as peaceful gardens and a private pool, and the villa will be a perfect place to launch your exploration of Cardinale Winery. Cardinale was born in 1982, with a mission to produce a singular Cabernet Sauvignon from the highest-quality vineyards in Napa. Winemaker Chris Carpenter is a true Renaissance man: a University of Illinois football defensive lineman, president and chairman of the Napa Valley Youth Symphony, food lover, soccer dad and holder of master’s degrees in horticulture and business.

Your in-depth experience of Cardinale wine will include a blending session with the three legends using hand-selected Cabernet lots to craft a personalized, one-of-a-kind wine that captures the spirit of the weekend. You’ll dine with Proprietor Barbara Banke and Chris at the estate, enjoying a Michelin-worthy menu and have access to rare wines from his personal collection. One of the quieter yet most significant parts of your stay will be a fireside chat with the legends and Barbara’s son Christopher Jackson, where you can explore the artistry and leadership lessons shared between the court and the cellar. Your party will leave with custom memorabilia, featuring fine art photography of the blending session.

In addition, each couple receives six Magnums and twelve standard bottles of their customized blend—bottled, signed and never replicated. It will bring back memories of basketball brilliance and winemaking precision, captured in one unforgettable wine.

This trip is for three (3) couples. Visit to be scheduled for mutually agreeable dates and based on availability. Must be redeemed within twelve (12) months of the auction and booked well in advance. Airfare is not included. One (1) group airport transfer from SFO airport to the hotel in San Francisco, one (1) group ground transfer between San Francisco and Napa and one (1) group airport transfer from Napa to SFO is included. Guests arriving or departing separately will be responsible for the costs of any additional transfers. All additional transportation, including transportation to stated activities, is not included and is the responsibility of the winning bidders. This trip includes one (1) day of planned activities in San Francisco and one (1) day of planned activities in Napa. The rest of the visit is at the winners’ leisure. The Jackson Family Wines team can provide concierge services for additional activities in Napa, but all additional experiences will be at the expense of the winning bidders. Tyler Florence is co-creating the menu at Miller & Lux in coordination with Christopher Carpenter, and his appearance at the dinner is solely based on his availability and is not guaranteed. Barbara’s attendance at the dinner at Cardinale estate will be based on her availability and is not guaranteed. Meals are only included as stated above. Select alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included with the stated meals. Gratuities are not included for any portion of the trip. The winners’ custom blended wine will ship directly to the winning bidders when available.
