Two fortunate couples will experience the grace and grandeur of Domaine Serene wines during this unforgettable experience in Oregon. Red will be there to document every thrilling moment as you luxuriate in the hills of the Willamette Valley and taste some of the most spectacular Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on earth.

Oregon wasn’t on anyone’s radar back in 1989 when Grace Evenstad and her late husband, Ken, bought land in the Dundee Hills. While the couple had no previous winemaking experience, they had many of the essential qualities for success, including passion and the ability to work hard and learn the process from the ground up. Domaine Serene, the estate they founded, created the fine wine industry in Oregon; their Evenstad Reserve bottlings, as well as their vineyard-designated Pinot Noirs, have earned every possible accolade for world-class wine. The Evenstads have been involved with the Naples Winter Wine Festival since its inception, with Grace serving as a former Festival Chair. In 2015, their wine journey came full circle with the purchase of Château de la Crée, a venerable property with a 600-year history in the Santenay region of Beaune.

The winning bidders will experience every aspect of Domaine Serene from the inside out. You’ll stay in the luxurious Winery Hill House, a cozy retreat nestled in the vineyards. Grace herself will lead you on a tour of the Evenstad Estate gardens, followed by a private dinner in her home accompanied by special wines from her prodigious cellar. You’ll enjoy guided tastings of Domaine Serene, Château de la Crée and Maison Evenstad wines, as well as a blending session with Domaine Serene’s winemaker. Over the course of your stay, you’ll have an opportunity to explore the interplay of wine and food during a chef’s pairing dinner at the nearby Domaine Serene Wine Lounge in Lake Oswego. During a day off, you’ll try your luck at deep-sea fishing off the Oregon Coast, known for pristine species of halibut and salmon.

As a memento of your visit, the winning bidders will receive two priceless Large Format bottles of Evenstad Reserve Pinot Noir, as well as an assorted case of the best wines from both continents. When you open these bottles, you’ll be able to relive your magical time in the Dundee Hills.

This trip is for two (2) couples. Visit to be scheduled for mutually agreeable dates, based on availability and must be redeemed within 12 months of the auction. Recommended travel dates are April through October. One (1) roundtrip group airport transfer is included. Guests arriving or departing separately will be responsible for the costs of any additional transfers. If the winners choose to rent a vehicle for the visit, they will receive a reimbursement of up to $800. The boat size for the fishing excursion ranges from 43’-53’ depending on the winners’ choice of excursion. The chef’s pairing dinner at the Domaine Serene Wine Lounge Lake Oswego includes a pre-set menu and wines. Select wine and non-alcoholic beverages are included with the stated meals. Food and drinks are not included during the fishing excursion. Additional meals, alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages and gratuities are not included. Two (2) 750ml bottles of the custom blended wine will be given to the winners after their blending session. The 12-750ml bottles will ship directly to winning bidders.
