Three couples will enjoy a tour of Marilisa Allegrini’s cherished estates, from Verona to Bolgheri to Montalcino. Begin in Verona at Villa Della Torre, the Marilisa Allegrini headquarters, where you will stay in elegant estate rooms. Known as Lady Amarone, Marilisa’s wines showcase the versatility of the Valpolicella grape. Enjoy a cooking class with Marilisa herself (“Cooking is storytelling with your hands,” she likes to say. “Wine, with your heart”). Your visit will also include a tour of Verona, the historic city of Veneto that became a Roman settlement in 59 B.C.

Two nights of exceptional dining await: Michelin-starred Iris Ristorante at Palazzo Soave, where Chef Giacomo Sacchetto serves authentic regional cuisine, and the Three Michelin-starred Casa Perbellini 12 Apostoli, led by Chef Giancarlo Perbellini with creations such as sea bass tartare and barbecued Iberian pork.

Explore Mantua, noted for its significant role in the history of opera. You’ll also explore the 14^th-century Scaliger Castle, one of the best-preserved castles in Italy, and tour the historic center of Sirmione on Lake Garda. If weather permits, you’ll have a boat tour on the lake.

Your party will arrive in Bolgheri, the birthplace of the Super Tuscan revolution. Check into the new luxury estate rooms at Casa Bolgherese at Poggio al Tesoro or enjoy a stay in a charming local hotel of equal prestige. Culinary highlights include a barbecue under the stars and the Michelin-starred La Pineta, sampling Poggio al Tesoro wines.

Founded by Marilisa and her brother Walter, Poggio al Tesoro contains 160 acres of vineyards, producing ten different wines including the flagship Sondraia, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Your exploration of the region will include a visit to the medieval village of Bolgheri; a stop in Populonia to view the ancient Etruscan remains; and “a sail through the Tuscan islands, where time slows and flavors deepen,” in the words of Marilisa. On your way to Montalcino you’ll visit the Abbey of San Galgano, a Cistercian monastery dating to the 13th century, as well as the ancient village of Massa Marittima in Grosseto.

Your two nights in Montalcino will combine local historical sites with the Marilisa Allegrini estate of San Polo. Working alongside her daughters Carlotta and Caterina, Marilisa has created a sustainable and organically certified property that embodies the harmonious union of exceptional winemaking. This is where wine becomes art: from Brunello DOCG and Riserva to the single-vineyard wines of Podernovi and the exceedingly rare Vignavecchia. In addition to sampling the bounty of San Polo paired with the local cuisine, you’ll explore Bagno Vignoni’s hot springs and the Benedictine Abbey of Sant’Antimo.

This trip is for three (3) couples. Visit to be scheduled for mutually agreeable dates and based on availability. Marilisa’s participation is based on her schedule. Blackout dates include, but are not limited to, April 6-18, 2026. One (1) roundtrip group airport transfer is included from either Venice, Milan or Verona airports. Guests arriving or departing separately or to different airports will be responsible for the costs of any additional transfers. Ground transportation is included to all stated activities. The helicopter transfer to Bolgheri is weather permitting and a luxury van will be substituted for the winners if preferred. Meals are only included as stated above and served with non-alcoholic beverages and Marilisa Allegrini wines from the restaurant’s wine list. Any additional meals, wine and alcoholic beverages are not included. Gratuities are not included for any portion of the trip.
