In a short period of time, four couples will indulge in the very best Napa has to offer: exquisite wine from a revered producer, a culinary experience pairing with Loco Tequila’s luxury agave spirits and dishes from a James Beard Award-winning chef, a private dinner in one of the country’s finest restaurants and the opportunity to drive exotic sports cars through the Valley.

The winning bidders’ party of eight will have exclusive, private use of Poetry Inn Napa Valley on the hillside of Yountville, Napa Valley’s most exclusive and private luxury boutique offering guests intimate experiences and personalized service. Each Suite at Poetry Inn encompasses nearly 1,000 square feet, with amenities such as heated bathroom floors, wood-burning fireplaces, indoor and outdoor showers with rain shower heads, well-stocked complimentary mini-bars and large terraces with sweeping views of the vineyards. Unwind and enjoy curated spa treatments in-house. Breakfast at Poetry Inn is taken to an entirely new level, with multi-course seasonal savory and sweet entrees from Executive Chef Jim Leiken, who has over three decades of experience alongside culinary icons. On top of that, you’ll receive an immersion into one of Napa’s most venerable wineries.

In many ways, the historic Sullivan Rutherford Estate is entering a new era: catapulting to new heights by further elevating the historical focus of unparalleled Merlot that defines modern Napa Valley elegance and distinction. First planted in 1978 with the guidance of Napa legend André Tchelistcheff, the vineyard rests above neighboring properties on a mound of gravelly soils, ideal for producing world-class Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. In early 2018, Sullivan Rutherford Estate was acquired by a family-driven group led by the dynamic Juan-Pablo Torres-Padilla. An all-star team joined the family and has deliberately initiated a series of milestones to strengthen the five-decade foundation. These milestones include strategic vineyard developments and acquisitions. In 2026, the winery will unveil a state-of-the-art winemaking facility designed by Hans Baldauf of BCV Architecture and brought to life by Orla Huq Studios. This exceptional building will stand as a testament to the winery’s unwavering commitment to excellence.

Your group will experience an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the Rutherford Estate during its immersive “Merlot Mastery,” a blind comparative Europe-Napa tasting experience paired with refined culinary bites. Following a tour through the lush gardens, the picturesque pond, the Estate vineyards and the historic Sullivan Residence, you’ll be seated for a blind tasting of the world’s best expressions of the variety, followed by a vertical of the J.O. Sullivan Founder’s Reserve Merlot with Winemaker Jeff Cole.

Back at Poetry Inn, you get the inside track on the exceptional agave spirit, Loco Tequila, as it is paired with dinner prepared by acclaimed chef Rogelio Garcia, who is also executive chef at Auro at Four Seasons Napa Valley, which earned a Michelin Star just eight months after opening. Loco Tequila represents a philosophy of impeccability, sophistication and excellence. Every sip is a convergence of radical authenticity, refined elegance and transcendent creativity. Its legacy is rooted at its historic 250-year-old Hacienda La Providencia, situated within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Tequila Valley in Jalisco, Mexico.

The excitement doesn’t end there: You’ll dine at the iconic The French Laundry and also have the opportunity to channel your inner race car driver during a rally arranged by the Napa Valley Car Club. Dinner for eight at The French Laundry, Thomas Keller’s Three Michelin-starred masterpiece and one of America’s most fabled restaurants, will be another culinary highlight of your trip. Led by their team, you’ll travel with Andrew Mazotti of Napa Valley Car Club through the most scenic routes in the Valley behind the wheel of Aston Martins, Lamborghinis, Ferraris and McLarens, with stops along the way to take memorable photos (Red will be looking over your shoulder to guide you). It’s a unique day you’ll remember for years to come.

In addition, each couple will receive a Three Liter bottle of the 2021 J.O. Sullivan Rutherford Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, awarded “Best American Cabernet of the Year” by Robb Report. You will each take home a vertical (2019, 2020 and 2021) of the renowned J.O. Sullivan Founder’s Reserve Merlot. When grown in the best soils, farmed with the best agricultural practices and curated with the best winemaking techniques, Merlot has been the backbone of some of the best wines in the Old World, and the team at Sullivan is proud to champion this vision in the United States.

The winning couples will also receive a collection of three Loco Tequila expressions (one bottle each of Loco Blanco, Loco Ámbar and Loco Puro Corazón), liquid art born from daring to challenge conventional thinking with patience and mastery. Each pour will bring you back to your one-of-a-kind culinary dining experience with Chef Rogelio Garcia.

Guests arriving or departing separately will be responsible for the costs of any additional transfers. All drivers at Napa Valley Car Club must be 21 years or older and have a valid driver’s license. Select wine, alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages and gratuities are included with the stated meals. Gratuities are included for the spa treatment.
