Four couples will spend a week in Lake Como’s Villa Polli, part of the Black Book Villas Collection. Villa Polli is located in one of the best spots of the lake, only 10 minutes from the center of Como, overlooking the lake and hillside with no other homes around it. The property is south-facing and blessed with sunlight throughout the day as well as spectacular sunsets. The main villa was built in the 1830s by a famous local artist and boasts four Double bedrooms, one Twin bedroom and a two-bedroom family suite, each with ensuite bathrooms, along with a large dining and entertaining area leading to the garden with magnificent views of the lake. There is plenty of space for lounging, partying and finding privacy for a romantic stroll, or to enjoy a good book.

This stunning villa has almost anything you can wish for: a heated pool, a Technogym, a game room and movie room, sauna, steam room and your own docking facilities. A private, gated path will easily lead you to the center of Torno, where you can enjoy the atmosphere and one of the high-quality restaurants in the village. If you choose to stay in for the night, your butler and chef will attend to your every need; should you desire to dine out, your personal concierge will gladly make the arrangements. Villa Polli is the perfect setting to enjoy privacy and elegant luxury, while immersing yourself in the history and fascinating lifestyle of the lake.

During your stay, your party will explore the lake in comfort and style. You’ll have a three-hour cruise on the Giuditta, which takes its name from a famous 19th-century soprano. The sunroof allows passengers to enjoy fresh air while admiring the lake without any sight obstacles. Cruising on a private boat gives you the opportunity to get a closer view of all venues, locations and hamlets that otherwise would remain secluded if touring with a car.

When you’re ready for a change of pace, step aboard a speedboat for an accelerated tour of the lake. Your English-speaking captain will show you the most famous towns and villas of Lake Como and arrange a 30-minute stop at the location of your choice. Additionally, Black Book Villas may also arrange a special surprise experience during your stay to make your time in Italy even more memorable.

During your stay, you’ll savor the distinctive regional cuisine of Lombardy. Local specialties include risotto, polenta, lake perch, osso buco, wild game and both gorgonzola and taleggio cheese. Any of these dishes can be prepared by your private chef, or you can take advantage of the many excellent restaurants in the area.

Your party of eight will also take advantage of a multi-course dinner at Hotel Passalacqua, named “Best Hotel in the World” in 2024 and “Best Hotel in Europe” in both 2024 and 2025. Savor a culinary journey crafted by the hotel’s acclaimed chefs, featuring locally sourced ingredients and the refined flavors of Lake Como. Insider's Info

This trip is for four (4) couples. It must be redeemed for mutually agreeable dates, with travel to take place during medium-travel seasons such as April, May, September, October or other dates based on availability. Heavy travel dates are excluded. Airfare and airport transfers are not included. The boat tour and speedboat experiences on Lake Como are three (3) hours. Additional hours can be booked at the winning bidders’ expense. The speedboat excursion will be either on two (2) Riva speedboats or one (1) Vaporina, based on availability and weather. Additional activities and transportation are not included but can be booked through Black Book Villas at the winning bidders’ expense. A daily chef and butler will be at the villa for eight (8) hours a day, but food and beverages are not included. Any additional requested staff over the eight (8) hours a day will be at the winning bidders’ expense of €50 per hour, per staff member, plus VAT. The dinner at Hotel Passalacqua excludes wine and alcoholic beverages. Meals are only included as stated above. Additional meals, non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages are at the expense of the winning bidders. Gratuities are not included for any portion of the trip.
