Four couples will have a dream-filled week in Black Book Villas’ magnificent Villa Dusenszky Vitale, located in the picturesque Ostuni area. Black Book Villas is known for sourcing the most beautiful and distinctive residences around the world, and Villa Dusenszky Vitale is a masterpiece. Surrounded by centuries-old olive groves, this remarkable retreat offers the atmosphere of a true luxury family home in a refined setting. The villa’s striking stone façade opens to four hectares (10 acres) of manicured gardens, where a shimmering infinity pool invites guests to relax under the southern Italian sun. The adjacent pool house features a shaded alfresco dining area, perfect for leisurely lunches and sunset apertivos. Spacious terraces offer idyllic spots for open-air meals or evening cocktails. The peaceful grounds are ideal for tranquil walks, and include a professional tennis court, ping pong table and professional table soccer.

The estate is composed of an original Masseria and a contemporary villa, for a total of four distinct buildings which are connected by underground corridors. Expansive arched windows flood the interiors with natural light, creating an airy, elegant ambiance. The living spaces are adorned with custom furnishings, rich textiles and curated artwork. For an added touch of indulgence, the villa boasts an indoor pool with counter current swimming and a hammam on the lower ground floor of the new building. Privacy, comfort and timeless beauty will welcome you in the heart of the Itria Valley, famous for its iconic Trulli (traditional stone dwellings) and picturesque villages, just 20 minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Puglia.

When you’re not out investigating the high points of the region, Puglia will come to you. In the privacy of your villa, you’ll witness the traditional music of the area along with a pizzica, a couple’s dance similar to the tarantella. While you’ll indulge in a cooking class and a mozzarella demonstration with an aperitivo, your personal chef will also prepare some classic Apulian specialties: orecchiette con cime di rapa (pasta with turnip tops, garlic and chili); focaccia Barese; panzerotti (fried dough pockets filled with cheese and tomato) and tiella, a baked dish made with rice, potatoes and mussels. Your group will have the opportunity to sample the wine of Puglia, which has skyrocketed in quality in recent years. You’ll visit Terre di San Vito Estate, best known for full-bodied, concentrated reds made from authentic, high-quality expressions of indigenous Puglian grape varieties. If you prefer, you can schedule your visit at a time when you can observe and participate in the harvest.

This trip is for four (4) couples. It must be redeemed for mutually agreeable dates, with travel to take place during medium-travel seasons such as May, June, early July, September or other dates based on availability. Heavy travel dates are excluded. Airfare and airport transfers are not included. Additional activities and transportation are not included but can be booked through Black Book Villas at the winning bidders’ expense. A daily chef and butler will be at the villa for eight (8) hours a day, but food and beverages are not included. Any additional requested staff over the eight (8) hours a day will be at the winning bidders’ expense of €50 per hour, per staff member, plus VAT. Meals are only included as stated above and exclude all beverages. Additional meals, alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages and all gratuities are not included and are the responsibility of the winning bidders.
