One (1) one-of-a-kind bar table, 40”H x 72”W x 19.5”D, designed by Method & Concept and crafted by Thomas Riley Artisans’ Guild, including four (4) interlocking modular drink platforms and six (6) unique, handblown, artisan-created glassware
Red’s senses are overwhelmed, and his imagination is on fire, contemplating the range of amazing bottles in this lot. He looks forward to snapping a photo of the collection resting in your cellar, which will be a sight to behold.
This is the third year of the Trustee Treasure Trove auction lot, and another rare collection that any collector would be jealous to acquire. Simply put, the bottles assembled here represent a roll call of the world’s greatest wine estates. Most are in Large Formats not available on the retail market, and many are mature and ready to drink. There is no way you could ever duplicate this collection on your own.
Most of the California greats are here in abundance: Colgin Cellars, Shafer Hillside Select, Opus One, Peter Michael, Hundred Acre and a mini-vertical of Harlan Estate, among others. The legendary estates of Bordeaux are represented by Château Lafite Rothschild, Mouton Rothschild, Latour, Petrus, Cheval Blanc, Rauzan-Ségla, Palmer and Trotanoy. There is also a vertical from last year’s NWWF Honored Vintner of Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair Vosne-Romanée Aux Brûlées Premier Cru in extremely rare Three Liter bottles, and there are Magnums of Grand Cru Clos du Tart as well as the riveting Chablis of Raveneau. The bottles of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti represents the summit of wine’s Mt. Everest: pure and aristocratic, intensely perfumed, with a satiny texture of exceptional finesse. The tiny production from a historic 4.6-acre vineyard makes this the most expensive and sought-after red Burgundy.
It doesn’t end there. The glories of Spain are revealed by Dominio de Pingus from Ribera del Duero, Álvaro Palacios of Priorat and the legendary Vega Sicilia Unico. Italy’s distinguished producers include Angelo Gaja, Quintarelli, Biondi-Santi and the Super Tuscans of Sassicaia, Ornellaia and Antinori’s Solaia. Regardless of your preferences, there’s enough here to delight your palate and expand your horizons.
To serve your wine in an elegant and stylish atmosphere, you’ll receive a unique bar table complete with interlocking drink platforms and scientifically inspired handblown barware. Visually appealing and functional at the same time, this piece was conceived by Method & Concept, Naples’ contemporary art gallery and design atelier, and executed by Thomas Riley Artisans’ Guild, a premier manufacturing company based in Naples, specializing in fine interior woodwork, finishes and furniture.
The joy of wine goes far beyond liquid art: it engenders a sense of community and fellowship, the sharing of a moment that cannot be achieved in any other way. The Trustees of NCF have curated and given these bottles in that spirit of fellowship and urge you to enjoy them in the same spirit. Dig deep and bid high for this extraordinary and irreplaceable lot and provide the children of Collier County with a better future.
All wine is sold on an “as-is” basis. Prospective bidders should inspect the wines on display in The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón auction lot room prior to bidding. Any prospective bidder who bids on wine assumes sole and exclusive responsibility of such election and affirms that they are relying on their own judgment as to the value and desirability of such wine. All wine must be arranged for and/or picked up from the Naples Children Foundation office no later than January 22, 2027. Failure to do so by this date will result in wine being considered a donation to NCF. Thomas Riley’s Artisans’ Guild will arrange complimentary delivery of the bar table and glassware within Collier and Lee counties. Shipping of the table is available outside of Collier and Lee counties at the winning bidder’s expense.
