Here’s a panorama of snapshots from Red, depicting the legacy of a legendary California wine family alongside pictures of the awe-inspiring Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

Three lucky couples will spend six nights at one of America’s premier resort hotel companies, with three nights at the original Blackberry Farm and three nights at Blackberry Mountain.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, as it was founded in 1976 by Sandy and Kreis Beall as a charming six-room country inn, Blackberry Farm is still family-owned and operated today. The Farm is a pastoral resort encompassing 4,200 acres, and the Mountain spans 5,200 acres. The two resorts contain every possible amenity, with an emphasis on delicious, award-winning cuisine, great wines and sharing special moments with family and friends. 

Your first stop will be Blackberry Farm, where the emphasis is on relaxation and abundance. Your party will stay in the Holly Glade Cottages, which contains nearly 900 square feet of rustic elegance with indoor fireplaces and private porches. You’ll experience the famed Foothills Cuisine^® of Cassidee Dabney, executive chef at The Barn, accompanied by a world-class wine program that contains over 160,000 selections.

From there, you’ll visit Blackberry Mountain, which offers abundant outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, horseback riding, rock climbing and fly fishing, in addition to restorative wellness treatments. The Mountain is also known for its impactful cuisine, with a choice of dining at either the Firetower or the signature Three Sisters restaurant. While at the Mountain, you’ll have an introduction to both Continuum and the Mondavi family during a private, multi-course dinner hosted by either Tim Mondavi or Carissa Mondavi.

At a separate time, you will visit Napa for a special visit to Continuum Estate, a truly unique experience. Not many wineries can boast this family’s generational wine legacy, with the head winemaker still committed to crafting wines of exceptional quality after more than 50 years, and the rich accompanying stories to match. Picture Cesare Mondavi, who emigrated from Italy’s Marche region in 1908 with his wife Rosa. They moved to California after Prohibition in 1919, where Cesare became a successful fruit shipper. In 1943 he purchased Charles Krug winery and worked alongside his sons, Robert and Peter. Robert left in 1966 to start his own winery, with a singular vision: he wanted to make California wine the equal of the world’s greatest, Bordeaux included. His son Tim grew up in the business and became head winemaker in 1974. After the sale of Robert Mondavi Winery in 2004, Tim established Continuum Estate on Napa’s famed Pritchard Hill with his father, sister Marcia and their families. Today, the fourth generation—Tim’s children Carissa, Dante and Chiara and Marcia’s son, Brian—all play key roles in Continuum as well as in their new Sauvignon Blanc endeavor, Sentium.

Red is obviously partial to full-bodied, Bordeaux-style blends, and Continuum is no exception. A proprietary blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot, the wine has received perfect and near-perfect scores from virtually every critic. They praised its fine mountain tannins, complexity, elegance and supple, silky texture. When you visit Napa Valley, your trip will include a special dinner hosted at Continuum Estate by a member of the Mondavi family, filled with memorable wines and tales of the family’s remarkable wine history.

This lot includes a Three Liter bottle of the 2013 and 2023 Continuum, marking exceptional milestones in Tim Mondavi’s winemaking history, his 40th and 50th vintages respectively. Each couple will also take home a Magnum of 2023 Continuum.

Additionally, the winning couples will each receive two bottles of 2024 Sentium Sauvignon Blanc for their enjoyment. Sentium is a fourth-generation endeavor. Chiara Mondavi, Tim’s daughter, helms the winemaking efforts and is sourcing the fruit from rare, old vines in Mendocino, California.

Roundtrip, Private Air from Naples, Florida to Walland, Tennessee is included on a NetJets Phenom 300 or similar aircraft. Airfare, hotel and all ground transportation are not included in Napa. Room category in Tennessee will be best available at the time of booking. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at Blackberry Farm and Blackberry Mountain are included served in the restaurants, beginning with dinner on the day of arrival and ending with breakfast on the day of departure, during restaurant hours. Adventure activity at Blackberry Farm is based on winners’ personal choice. Non-alcoholic beverages and gratuities for your room and stated meals are included at both Blackberry Farm and Blackberry Mountain. Any additional activities, beverages and retail purchases will be billed at the end of the stay.
