If you’ve never visited Darioush, you’re in for a special treat. An architectural wonder on Silverado Trail, the estate was inspired by the Ancient Persian Capital City of Persepolis and was constructed in travertine quarried near the ancient ruins. Growing up, Darioush Khaledi was exposed to wine through his father, a hobbyist winemaker, but his fascination truly began as a collector of Bordeaux. After immigrating to the United States in the late 1970s and beginning his second career, he never lost sight of his dream to open his own winery. Finally, in 1998 alongside his wife, Shahpar, their dream culminated in Napa Valley. After nearly five years of construction, the eponymous winery opened and embodies the Persian principle of taarof—the art of hospitality, a trait that runs deep for both Shahpar and Darioush.

On a visit to Napa, your group will enjoy an intimate dinner hosted by the 2026 NWWF Honored Vintners, the Khaledis themselves. For them, the table is a stage where every element matters: the wine in your glass, the music in the air, the handcrafted plates before you, the people at your side, the conversations that linger and the warmth of a gracious host.

Each couple will receive two Magnum bottles spanning four exceptional vintages of the estate’s crown jewel wine, Darius II, a refined and age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon that reflects the best of Darioush’s estate vineyards. In addition, this lot includes one very special Three Liter bottle of 2022 Darius II, hand-painted and etched, for the winners to share.

This trip is for four (4) couples. Visits to be scheduled for mutually agreeable dates and based on availability. Blackout dates to Mexico, include but are not limited to, the seven-day periods surrounding holiday weeks designated by Exclusive Resorts. Private Air from Naples, Florida to Cancún, Mexico is included on a NetJets Citation Sovereign or similar jet and must be redeemed within one (1) year of the auction. The stay with Exclusive Resorts at Mayakoba, Riviera Maya will be forfeited if not redeemed by October 31, 2027. One (1) roundtrip group airport transfer in Mexico is included. Guests arriving or departing separately will be responsible for the costs of any additional transfers. Airfare, hotel accommodations, airport transfers and ground transportation are not included in Napa. All five (5) nights in Mexico must be used consecutively. Trip to Mexico is non-transferable and is subject to the terms and conditions of the Exclusive Resorts occupancy agreement. Pets or other animals are not permitted in or around any Exclusive Resorts property with the exception of service animals for persons with disabilities as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. The fishing or yachting experience will include select non-alcoholic beverages, snacks and lunch. Select Darioush wines are included with the Darioush dinner in the villa in Mexico, as well as at the dinner in Napa. All additional meals, alcoholic beverages and wines are not included. Non-alcoholic beverages and gratuities are not included in Napa or Mexico. Winners will receive one (1) $5,000 resort credit for the entire party to share, including spa, golf, dining or excursions. Any additional costs over this amount are the responsibility of the winning bidders.
