Two couples will experience the best of two very different worlds: artisanal, hand-crafted winemaking in the Napa Valley, followed by an up-close look at celebrity glamor in Los Angeles.

Your journey begins at Villa Sorriso, located atop the Mayacamas Mountains. The former estate of the late comedian Robin Williams, the 650-acre property was purchased in 2016 by the Tesseron family of Bordeaux, owners of Château Pontet-Canet in Pauillac.

The 18-acre Pym-Rae vineyard is tended like a botanical garden and farmed both organically and biodynamically. Your party will have a private tour and tasting of this sought-after wine, brimming with energy and freshness. During your two-night stay, you will enjoy a lunch and a dinner prepared by a personal chef. From the peace of your 3,200-square foot guest house, you’ll have stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

From Napa you’ll travel to Los Angeles to attend the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards^® Viewing Party, one of the most high-profile parties in the Hollywood film industry. Last year’s party, which raised over $9 million for AIDS initiatives, featured an electric performance by Rina Sawayama and a duet between her and Elton John himself.

The winning bidder’s party will have access to the Chopard Jewelry Suite during the Oscars^® weekend to view the 2024 Collection, and each couple will be credited $10,000 toward a purchase.

The winning bidders will take home a collection of Three Liter bottles of Château Pontet-Canet from a trio of stellar Bordeaux vintages (1990, 2000 and 2010). These rare bottles provide an opportunity to trace the improvement of the property under Tesseron ownership, with the 2010 garnering perfect 100-point ratings. In addition, they will receive a mini-vertical of the concentrated and powerful Pym-Rae Estate wine from 2016, 2017 and 2018.

The winners also have the option of indulging in two very special, experiences in France: an exploration at Tesseron Cognac in Châteauneuf-sur-Charente, founded in 1905, and a visit, tour,  tasting and lunch at Château Pontet-Canet with a member of the Tesseron family—a rare privilege in the Médoc.

The Los Angeles portion of this trip is date specific and will take place Saturday, March 9-Monday, March 11, 2024. The Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards^® Viewing Party is a gala experience and will take place at a separate location from the Academy Awards^®; this lot does not include tickets to the Academy Awards^®. The winning bidders have the option to take both the Napa and Los Angeles trips consecutively, based on availability, and the owner must be present at the villa. If the winning bidders take the trip consecutively, One-Way Semi-Private Airfare from Napa, California to Los Angeles, California is included. The Semi-Private Airfare is a 12-18 passenger elevated First-Class flight experience only available on select days of the week and based on availability. Airfare to California is not included. Airport transfers are included in both Napa and Los Angeles. Additional ground transportation for stated activities planned by Chopard in Los Angeles is included and is not included in Napa. The multi-course dinner in Los Angeles will be hosted by a Chopard representative and executive. Accommodations, airfare, airport transfers and ground transportation are not included for any portion of the optional experiences in France. Select wine, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and gratuities are included for stated meals. Chopard jewelry credit is for a minimum $40,000 purchase.
