The Naples Children & Education Foundation, the founding organization of the Naples Winter Wine Festival, fills a critical void for at-risk and underprivileged children in Collier County as the largest single source of funding for essential services.
NCEF’s annual grants and initiatives ensure every dollar of the approximately $269 million raised since the Naples Winter Wine Festival’s inception has gone to the children of Collier County. 60 of the most effective nonprofits in the community have been able to provide over 300,000 children with the resources they need to excel.
NCEF’s unique approach emphasizes collaboration among organizations and bridges public and private resources to attain the greatest possible results. This has become a blueprint for how to transform a community one issue at a time.
To date, NCEF has committed $90.7 million to seven strategic initiatives that improve the educational, emotional, and health outcomes of Collier County’s disadvantaged children. These initiatives engage multiple partners to affect long-term change through Early Learning, Healthcare, Hunger, Mental Health, Oral Health, Vision and Out-of-School Time initiative programs.
Giving OpportunitiesFounded by a passionate group of community-minded philanthropists and their families over 20 years ago, Naples Children & Education Foundation is now a major philanthropic force in Collier County. NCEF has an exemplary history of service to at-risk and underprivileged children, but to meet the challenges facing future generations, NCEF must now invest in its own future as a permanent resource in our community.
NCEF is a proven force in Collier County and we have a responsibility to sustain our initiatives and grants. We will continue stewarding the mission of our Founders whose volunteer efforts, charitable investments and personal involvement over the years have positively impacted an entire generation of children. The time has come for us to establish a permanent home for NCEF to uphold our commitment to meeting future needs and preserving precious resources.
To meet the challenges associated with continued growth at the Naples Children & Education Foundation, resources must be raised to construct a new building. The construction of such a building is a direct by-product of the progression of the Foundation into its current role as Collier County’s largest single source of funding for essential services for at-risk and underprivileged children.
The new NCEF building will allow the Foundation to leverage a greater amount of future resources to benefit the programs and services it supports. It will establish a place of permanence and create a professional environment for the premier supporter of children’s physical, emotional and educational services in Collier County. Join us as we deepen our roots within the community and open new doors for the children we serve.
With your support, we will continue to make a significant difference in these children’s lives in our own permanent home. Please contact us to discover how your family can establish their own legacy of support for future generations of children in our community through this critically important effort. We would be honored to have you choose to play a part in our continued success.
