Endowment Overview

Today, NCEF is inviting everyone in the community to help create a lasting legacy by making a current gift, pledge or planned gift to ensure NCEF’s continued operations and grantmaking activities to support future generations of children.

Why An Endowment?

  • To protect and preserve NCEF’s history of impact investing in Collier County’s most effective, disciplined charities serving at-risk and underprivileged children
  • To sustain NCEF to better withstand fluctuations in annual fundraising and to provide a mechanism for donors to make a gift to NCEF with greater legacy potential
  • To continue NCEF’s blueprint for success of transforming and improving our community one issue at a time; making a profound and life-changing difference for 35,000 children each year

“We want all of NCEF’s good work over the past 20+ years to be guaranteed for a strong future. We know that the children of Collier County are counting on us. That is why we have chosen to lead with passion and make a strong financial commitment to the NCEF Endowment by establishing the Shirley & Peter Welsh Operations & Out-of-School Time Programs Fund.”
